Discovery Park trek

Chuck had a 3 day weekend for the 4th of July so on Friday we headed over to Discovery Park to explore and walk the beach. It was tough finding the right trail to get to the beach but we ended up at South Beach since we had heard it was more sandy than rocky. The weather was gorgeous, even a little hot. Lola did great, but on the way back up the hill to the car, she had a little bit of a meltdown. This is the second time in her hiking pack that she got really tired, and wasn't able to fall asleep due to the jostling from walking. It makes it difficult to hear her cry and especially challenging for daddy, since he is the one having to hear the noise right inside his ear. But, we were glad we got some exercise.
