Lots of little firsts

Grandpa came to visit also and Lola turned 24 weeks old!






We have had a busy few weeks with Grandma in town, but now she is gone. Lola and I were sad the first day, but we were glad to get back into our routine again. Lola is eating rice cereal now and playing 'peek' with herself. I say 'peek' because she puts the blankie over her face, but she can't quite get the 'boo' part yet, so I usually have to help her and pull it off of her face. She also blows spit bubbles and today she thought it would be funny to do this while eating her cereal, then again when taking her bottle. It is hard not to laugh during this, and I try to be stern with her, but then we both erupt in the giggles and not a lot of eating gets done.

Lola got a crawl ball for Valentine's Day from her grandma and she loves it. She is not even close to crawling as far as I can tell, but it provides her something to look at while she is doing the dreaded 'tummy time'. She also got some really cool sunglasses and loves to look cool in them.
