Family Vacation in Sequim

Last weekend, Chuck's family took us on an annual vacation, this time in the town of Sequim out on the Olympic Peninsula. On the way there, we stopped by Mount Walker and drove to the top where you can get a good view of Seattle on a clear day. Chuck and I have hiked it before but it is nice that you can get the same view by driving up to the top when you don't have the time to hike it.

As soon as we arrived in Sequim and checked into our house, we saw deer right out the front door. And there were so many frogs!!! I wasn't able to capture the frogs on camera, but one morning we went out to the pond and there were more than a hundred little baby frogs jumping around everywhere.

There was lots of playtime for Lola and her cousins Evelyn and Noah in the pool as well as some time on the swings with mom and dad.

We also caught Lola lounging a few times in various places. Such a lazy baby, that Lola! I guess she takes after her mama.

Lola slept in until 8am every morning, breaking her usual pattern of waking at 7am at home. She always sleeps so good on vacation, we are thankful for that. Here are some photos of her in the morning.

We went to a beach while we were there, but the water was a little on the cold side for Lola, another thing she shares in common with her mom. But, her cousins didn't seem to mind.

Lola took lots of baths while she was on vacation and when her bath towel is on her head she reminded us of a nun.

Here are some other random shots of Evie in mom's glasses, a sunset out our front door and more family pictures.
